Skip Case, SIOR
Not your typical real estate broker

Skip chose industrial real estate in 1981 - upon return from a trip around the world. While in a hospital in Nepal, he had a vision of joining the business of cable TV - that was in the days when Ted Turner was changing cable into what it has become today. Although Skip found a position in Ted Turner's empire, he soon had a change of heart. Working with manufacturers, distributors and transporters in his home town of Baltimore as an industrial real estate agent provided the hands-on engagement with the making and moving of real goods that really appealed to him. In time, understanding the dynamics of real estate agency, Skip chose to dedicate his practice to tenant representation. That was a bold move in 1990 in the industrial market. And Skip is a bold guy. Nearly twenty years later, he has built a well-respected practice that has provided him with immeasurable satisfaction.

Today, Skip Case jokes that he puts more miles on rental cars working on his clients' facilities around the country than he does on his personal car.

Weekends and vacations, he and his wife, Kathleen, spend much of their spare time either cruising on the Chesapeake Bay or hiking in the Sonoran Desert of southern Arizona. For fun, it is those less traveled byways that he has always enjoyed.

Skip is committed to his communities, making time to support the Maryland Food Bank and the Carpenter's Club of Habitat for Humanity.

Skip is a graduate of University of California at Berkeley. Prior to his year abroad he enjoyed eleven years as a rigger working in custom yacht yards on Cape Cod and the San Francisco Bay.

A former Chapter President of the Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS®, Skip won numerous awards and honors for his real estate work in the eighties and nineties. More importantly - as he remade himself for the Millennium, he is now considered a valuable part of the management teams in the companies he serves.

Rebecca L. Bush

Becky is a licensed real estate agent and provides in-house Project Management. She prepares lease abstractions, researches and reports available land and facility sites, and maintains project communication with cooperating SIOR partners. She is detail-oriented and thorough with information gathering and reporting and provides a vital link in keeping partners informed and connected.

Membership in this prestigious society provides access to the elite top two percent of brokers in the United States. Members average 20 years of industrial or office experience and have demonstrated consistent sales volume and completed rigorous coursework and entrance exams. The 2,000+ members extend beyond the United States to represent real estate brokerage around the globe.


 

The Council of Logistics Management

The Council of Logistics Management is a professional business organization of 15,000 individuals throughout the world who have interest and/or responsibilities in logistics and the related functions that make up the logistics profession.

The Council of Logistics Management is particularly concerned with three important areas:

  • Developing and improving logistics management skills by creating opportunities for communication and dialogue among those in the profession.

  • Adding to the knowledge base of logistics theory and practice by arranging for and conducting research.

  • Serving as a resource to create an awareness of the significance of logistics to business activities, as well as its critical role in the global economy.
